Co-Owner, Birmingham Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

Ellen has been practicing physical therapy in the Birmingham area since 1979. She is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist, with a special interest in spine and manual therapy. She is a guest lecturer and lab consultant at UAB Physical Therapy School and has served as an officer in both state and national Physical Therapy Associations. She enjoys mountain biking, hiking, and traveling.

ANDREA ABERCROMBIE, PT, OCS

Co-Owner, Birmingham Physical Therapy & Sports Medicine

Andrea is an Orthopedic Certified Specialist skilled in manual therapy techniques with a strong interest in sports medicine and related injuries. She has served as Vice President of the Alabama Physical Therapy Association and is a clinical lab instructor at the UAB Physical Therapy School. She enjoys rock climbing, hiking and canoeing.

Shauntá Andrews, DPT

Shauntá Andrews earned her Doctorate of Physical Therapy from UAB. She has experience in outpatient orthopedics, pediatric acute care, and spinal cord injuries. An active athlete who became an injury patient herself, Shauntá understands the challenges as well as the benefits of sports rehabilitation. She enjoys coaching basketball, movies, and the outdoors.

Scott Collins, PT

Scott has extensive training in manual therapy with an emphasis in musculoskeletal disorders. He is a lab instructor at UAB Physical Therapy School. He enjoys riding his motorcycle, metal work, and outside activities.
